What It Is:

How to Use:
Treat your whole face twice a day, morning and night. Apply a small amount to dampened skin. Using your fingertips, gently massage in circular motions for 1 to 2 minutes. Avoid eye area. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

“This product has salicylic acid at 1% as its main ingredient, and I'm a big fan. Salicylic acid, especially at 1%, is super well tolerated, and can be used to gently exfoliate and cleanse skin, and even acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. It can help degrade the oil (ie sebum) within pores, which is why it improves blackheads and acne, but does so in a really gentle, tolerable way. It's combined with aloe, a hydrating ingredient that improves and strengthens the skin barrier. Because this product has exfoliating beads, it's not for everyone- and I remind my patients not to scrub aggressively or apply heavy pressure when they're washing with it. It's ideal for those who wear a lot of makeup, suffer with acne, or those who need both a physical+chemical combination cleanser. “ —Dr. Rachel Nazarian, MD FAAD
